Director of Music: Daniel Mullens
Daniel Mullens is a freelance musician who was most recently active in Denver, Colorado.After graduating from the University of Northern Colorado with a master’s degree in music (conducting), he was involved with numerous musical organizations along the Front Range including Boulder Opera, Opera Theatre of the Rockies, Colorado Symphony Orchestra, Hit and Run Musical Improv, Voices West, Voices West Select, and the Evergreen Chorale.
He also taught private voice and piano lessons in the Denver area and served as the organist at King of Glory Lutheran Church in Arvada. Daniel is an accomplished collaborative pianist and was named Pianist of the Year at the 2013 West Central NATS conference in Emporia, KS.
After nearly a decade in Colorado, Daniel is excited to be starting a new life chapter on the East Coast. Having recently relocated to northeastern New Jersey, he plans on continuing his pursuit of a career in opera and musical theatre. Daniel began his new position at Packanack Community Church on November 1, 2017,and is grateful for the opportunity to be part of the work that God is doing there.
Financial Sec.: Jennifer Nemetz
Jennifer Nemetz started working in the Music Biz at the age of 18 at WHTZ-FM, Atlantic Records and Geffen Records in Marketing and Promotion. After being CEO of her home for 7 years, Jennifer went to work part time at the Wayne Y. She jumped at the chance in May of '12 to come full circle and rejoin the 'Music Biz' in the PCC Music and Arts Ministry. Before joining the PCC staff, Jennifer volunteered regularly in the PCC Drama Ministry while her daughter participated in Musical Theater Class. Her husband, Chris, has also painted scenes for numerous productions including, A Christmas Carol and Oliver. Jennifer and her husband, Chris, have lived in Wayne 14 years with their children, Sarabeth and John.
Administrative Assistant: Sandy Cantwell
Sandy has been a member of PCC for 18 years. She lives in Packanack Lake with her husband Tim, and daughters Jessica and Kelly. She has served on a variety of committees, and is currently serving as a Deacon. She also enjoys being a member of our hand bell ensemble. In her professional life, Sandy has worked in the field of computer applications for over 30 years. Her roles have varied between technical representative, help desk, sales, consulting, and analyst. Sandy's current responsibilities in the church office include the accounts payable area, and producing The Bell, our monthly church newsletter. In her free time, Sandy enjoys various creative outlets, including paper crafting and spending time with friends.
